NNB Radio's New Home

NNB Radio recently moved to Warrenton, Oregon. The ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication of Houston Plaza was attended by dignitaries from around the State of Oregon and community members welcoming NNB Radio to their new home. Enjoy the slideshow, below, of this very special day.

KAST AM History

KAST AM  started broadcasting in 1922  when people were building little crystal radio receivers to try and pick up signals from what was then the new fad technology of the time.  Then in 1935 KAST became the area's first commercial radio station. Located on the North Oregon Coast in Astoria near the mouth of the Columbia River the station serves four counties and nine cities in Oregon and Washington.

Through the years KAST has played many different formats from easy listening to Top 40.  In the mid 80's the station started broadcasting 24 hours a day and began broadcasting some talk radio and increased coverage of local and regional news.  Today KAST News and Talk is the recognized leader in national, regional and local talk programming and an award winning news station.

KAST AM 1370 is owned and operated by NNB Radio, a company based in Seattle, Washington.  NNB Radio is focused strongly on local programming and a high degree of public service in each of the station clusters it owns in Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Montana.

KAST AM sister stations include:

KCRX 102.3 FM
KVAS 103.9 FM
KJOX  99.7 FM
