Early Thursday morning at 4:08 a.m., Astoria dispatch received a 911 call from a man claiming to have shot his mother. Clatsop County Deputies responded to a residence on Norland McCoy Road just off Hwy 202. Upon arrival, the 3 deputies were met by 26 year old Brian Mathew Hall outside the residence who was taken into custody without incident.
