Clatsop County's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 5.9 percent in February, essentially the same as the previous month (5.8%), but lower than the year before  (7.4%). It was lower than the statewide rate  (6.9%) and the national rate (6.7%).Clatsop County had the fourth-lowest rate in the state in
February. Its unemployment rate peaked at 9.6  percent in early 2010 and has declined fairly  steadily since then.

Columbia County's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 7.4 percent in February, unchanged from the previous month (7.4%), but lower than the year before (9.1%). The rate was higher than the statewide rate (6.9%), and higher than the national rate (6.7%). Columbia County's unemployment rate ranked 19th lowest of Oregon's 36 counties in February. The rate peaked at 14 percent in mid-2009. It has declined fairly steadily since then and has also gotten closer to the statewide rate.

Tillamook County's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 6.3 percent in February, essentially unchanged from the previous month (6.1%), but lower than the year before (7.7%). It was lower than the statewide rate (6.9%), and about the same as the national rate (6.7%). Tillamook County's unemployment rate ranked as 7th lowest of Oregon's 36 counties in February. The rate peaked at 10 percent in the spring of 2009. It has declined unevenly since then.
