In the early morning hours Sunday Cannon Beach Police responded to an armed robbery reported at the Stephanie Inn.

 A neighboring hotel called 9-1-1 after seeing a man standing outside with his hands tied behind his back.  The call can in at 3:00am and the caller said the robbery had just occured.  Cannon Beach Chief of Police Jason Schermerhorn states that upon officers arrival, the restraints were removed and the victim reported that he had been robbed at gun point and then restrained by the suspect.  The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

 

The suspect is described as having a thin build, right handed, wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask. The potential suspect vehicle is a Chevrolet Sedan, possibly a Chevy Cruze, dark in color.
