The Clatsop County Shrine Club is looking for children who need orthopaedic and burn health care. Children from Birth to age 18 are encouraged to attend Saturday, November 16th at Providence Seaside Hospital, North Coast Clinic, 725 S. Wahanna Seaside, OR. Children will be screened from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 pm by medical professionals.
No appointment is necessary, however, families with questions may call 503-791-5482 for more information. Children will not be diagnosed, will be evaluated to determine if they have a condition that's treatable at the Shriners Hospital for Children. Those children with a treatable condition will be referred to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Portland.
World class medical care at the Shriners Hospitals for Children is provided regardless of the family's ability to pay.
The hospital is able to treat orthopaedic conditions such as; sports injuries, fractures, scoliosis, neuromuscular disorders, hand and back problems, leg length discrepancy, congenital hip problems, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and more. Further, we are able to provide post burn care, when needed.
