The 12th annual Pacific Northwest Brew Cup was forced to change venue Saturday after storms brought historic amounts of rainfall and wind to Astoria over the weekend.  The event began Friday afternoon in an area next to the Columbia River Maritime Museum Barbey Maritime Center but aftwer it became clear Mother Nature wasn't going to cooperate the event organizers moved Saturday to the newly reopened Astoria Events Center.  Tents were set up on ninth street just outside to serve the many beers that compieted for attention while bands played inside ot of the record setting rain that dumped over ten inches of wet stuff on the town.  According to an email from ADHDA's Tiffany Estes "not too many people were discouraged by the rain" and a quick drive by Saturday confirmed the event was indeed busy.
