The Astoria Fighting Fishermen lost their non-leaugue game Friday night in a contest against the W.F.West Bearcast out of Chehalis, Washington by a final score of 41 to 15.  The Fishermen return to league play this coming friday on the road against the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers.  Both teams are looking to improve 1 and 3 records so far this season.  In Volleyball the Lady Fishermen beat Seaside in four sets Friday. They now stand at 6 and 1 heading into a contest with Yamhill-Carlton on Tuesday for a 6:45pm match.

Warrenton varsity football improved their win/loss tally to 2 and 2 after taking a forefit over the Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates Friday night. Next up for Warrenton its the Nestucca Bobcats on the road this coming Saturday at 7pm.  In volleyball Warrenton is 3 and 7 overall after a loss to Rainier last Thursday. The Warriors host Catlin Gable at home Tuesday for a 6:15pm game.

The Seaside varsity football team won their game against the Newport Cubs 41 to 14.  It was the first time an opposing team scored against the Gulls this season with the Cubs scoring twice in the game. Not enough to overturn the dominating Gulls. next up Seaside will Host the Tillamook Cheesemakers at home. The Gulls now stand at 4 and 0.  In Volleyball the Gulls are now 3 for 6 on he season after taking a loss Saturday from Stayton.  Next up is a Tuesday game in Tillamook.
