Holding it's first meeting since returning from a sister city trip to Waldorf, Germany, the Astoria City Council gets back to business with a review of a major public works project, some changes in the city's liquor licence approval process due to changes in personnel, and will consider approval of a $94,000 grant to provide library access to all children in Clatsiop County not already covered by a tax-supported public library system.  The City Manager reports that the Historic inventory of the Adair-Uppertown area has been completed.  The inventory had been completed originally in the mid-90's but had to be done again when it was discovered that the original process of determining historic structures within the neighborhood had lacked some critical public input.  The complete agenda and documentation for tonight's meeting is available HERE.
