An investigation by the Clatsop County Interagency Narcotics Team (CCINT) has led to the arrest of 36-year-old Travis David Carow a resident of 310 15th Avenue Apt. B, in Seaside, Oregon.
The investigation began when CCINT detectives learned from multiple sources that Carow was a large heroin and methamphetamine dealer that supplied most Clatsop County. During the course of the investigation, Detectives learned that heroin was being used and sold in front of Carow's small children. As the investigation began to close, CCINT detectives were granted multiple search warrants.
On Tuesday, CCINT Detectives, along with members of the Seaside Police Department located Carow, took him into custody and executed the search warrants.
While at Carow's residence, CCINT Detectives encountered Carow's girlfriend, 34-year-old Jena Marie Cooke , and two small children. During the search of Carow's residence and vehicle, police located a substantial amount of pre-packaged heroin, pre-packaged marijuana, methamphetamine, two firearms, a large sum of US currency, multiple digital scales, drug packaging material, drug paraphernalia and drug transaction records. Detectives also located over 100 different kinds of prescription pills ranging from Methadone, Hydrocodone and Amphetamines. DHS was called and the necessary steps were taken to ensure the safety of the children at the residence.
Carow was arrested on charges of Delivery of Controlled Substance Heroin, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance Heroin, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Frequenting a Place Where Drugs are Sold and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.
Carow was transported to the Clatsop County Jail.
