Truck Accident On Big Bridge Blamed on Winds

According to Trooper Dave Herman, on February 22, 2013 at approximately 1:08 p.m., a commercial truck pulling two trailers was traveling southbound on Highway 101 near milepost 1 when the rear unloaded trailer overturned onto the northbound lane of the highway. Wind is being reported as a contributing factor. Both lanes of the highway were blocked until about 2:45 p.m. when the trailer was uprighted and the vehicles removed. Police report no injuries as a result of the accident.
