Body Found on Seaside Beach is Apparent Suicide

On January 17, 2013 at 6:53 AM, Seaside Police received a 911 call reporting a male subject was in need of medical attention on the beach at 12th Avenue and the Prom. Seaside Police responded finding a male subject who was deceased.

Detectives were called to the scene along with the Clatsop County Medical Examiner. Their investigation found no signs of foul play and indicates Christopher Lee Bodell, 22 of Seaside died as a result of an apparent suicide. Next of kin have been notified.
