Clatsop Community Bank was named among the "100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon" for the fourth consecutive year by Oregon Business magazine.
The list will be released in rank order at a special banquet hosted by the magazine on February 28 at the Oregon Convention Center. 273 companies competed to be on the list for 2013, and more than 13,000 employees across the state completed and submitted surveys that were used to determine the magazine's annual list of top employers.
This is the twentieth anniversary of the "100 Best" project, and companies that have made the list at least 10 times will be inducted into the magazine's 100 Best Hall of Fame.
"We're thrilled to have been named to the 100 Best list again this year," said Joe Schulte, executive vice-president of Clatsop Community Bank. "We're about to celebrate the bank's fifth anniversary, and to have made this list each of the four years we attempted is something we're very proud of," he added. "We'll certainly be working toward Hall of Fame eligibility in the future."
"Our goal has always been to stand apart from other banks," said Clatsop Community Bank President Steve Ferber, "not only with our customers and the service we provide them, but with our employees as well. It is very rewarding to know our employees are proud and happy to be part of our team, and it is my honor to work with each and every one of them. They are responsible for every success we achieve."
Clatsop Community Bank is the only bank locally owned in Clatsop County, and has branches in Seaside and Astoria, Oregon.
