A minor earthquake with a 3.1 magnitude was recorded at 6:15 a.m. Monday in the Portland area.  The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network reports the quake was centered about 11 miles northwest of Portland at a depth of 12 miles.  Emergency dispatchers say they received several calls from people who felt it, but no reports of damage.  USGS Event Summary.
