The Astoria Fishermen came fell 57-6 to the Scappoose Indians on Friday night in Scappoose in Cowapa League action. The loss was the second straight for the Fishermen as they finished 3-2 in Cowapa League play.
The Indians executed flawlessly all night long as they cruised to a 50-0 lead at halftime. Senior WR Paul Revis ran for two touchdowns, caught a touchdown pass, threw a touchdown pass and returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown to power Scappoose.
The Fishermen scored their lone touchdown in third quarter as Senior QB Jeramy Poyer crossed the goalline on a 10-yard run.
The Fishermen travel to Klamath Falls to play Klamath Union this Saturday in regional playoff action.
