Seaside Fire Chief Joey Daniels has banned all burning in the City of Seaside starting today and through the weekend due  to extreme dry weather and fire dangers.  This is latest development as one of he driest seasons on record continues with the forecast calling for sunshine until next week. The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning saying low relative humidity combined with warm temperatures would cause wildfires to start and grow quickly.  The Oregon Department of Forestry has already issued warnings fearing warming or cooking fires in the woods would quickly escalate.
