The Governor's Task Force on Japanese Tsunami Marine Debris is scheduled to be on the Oregon Coast for a second road show on Wednesday, Sept. 26, in Curry and Clatsop Counties. Brig. Gen. Mike Caldwell, Chair of the Governor's Task Force on Japanese Tsunami Marine Debris (JTMD), along with representatives from the Oregon Dept. of Parks and Recreation, Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, Dept. of Environmental Quality, and Surfrider are scheduled to give an update on tsunami marine debris cleanup.The Governor's Task Force on JTMD visited five other Oregon coastal counties in August to give an update on issues related to cleanup of tsunami debris, and is now coming to Gold Beach and Warrenton.
