Firefighters Sunday evening battling a massive fire at the Montesano high school football stadium.  This fire reported just before 10 pm quickly engulfing the entire grandstands.  No injuries were reported and no cause was yet determined.

Published reports Monday indicated that school officials are vowing to rebuild the grandstands at the high schools Jack Rottle field.  Right now only a charred skeleton remains in place after Sunday's fire tore through the stadium grandstands.  Firefighters controlling that fire before it spread to an adjacent gymnasium and offices.

The fire Chief reporting they had investigators gathering evidence yesterday morning.  They have not ruled out arson.  Firefighters reportedly had responded to another small fire at the grandstands a couple prior to this incident and quickly had that fire under control.
