Collin McD

I grew up in Tacoma, Washington and Northern Ohio in a family of 12 - 5 boys and 5 girls and two generous, loving parents.  Upon returning to the Northwest I immediately knew I was home.  I've had family on the Long Beach Peninsula since 1890 and think of the Lower Columbia region as a truly majestic place deserving treasured respect.  I proudly attended Clatsop Community College for a year and graduated from Portland State University. 

 

I fell in love with music/talk radio at a young age.  I experimented with my own radio show while attending school in Ohio and found it thrilling.  Ive always had a love for news and current events.  I am passionate about my beliefs.  I love sharing them and learning other’s beliefs with an open mind.  I love videography, photography, music, thinking and learning.  I am an Eagle Scout.  Humbled by it's history, working at KAST News has been a great experience, meshing several of my passions and allowing me a chance to work with an excellent group of people.  This area is a wonderful place to live and work, and Im proud to serve the local communities of the Lower Columbia and the Coast.
