Astoria officers might have to start wearing track shoes.  The department writes on it's Facebook page that they have chased down four suspects in five days.  The latest was last night when officer

Symonds responded to a noise complaint and came across a person on probabtion who blew a .16 on a portable breath tester and shortly after decided to make a run for it as Symonds was placing a call to his probation officer. He was located in a house nearby a short time later and was arrested.  Also in the last week officer Riley saw some suspicious activity at the McDonalds. The suspect ran and managed to run into Officer DeLapp who took him into custody.
