Michael Silva says no injuries have been reported, but the Sunday morning blaze caused extensive damage to the former Red Lion Inn on Hayden Island. He says the owners were using the vacant hotel for storage. More than 200 fire crew members worked to control the blaze that broke out shortly before 3 a.m. Crew got the blaze under control around 7 a.m.  The former hotel is located near Interstate 5, which was closed for a couple hours overnight because fire embers were hitting cars on the highway.  Investigators are still working to figure out what caused the blaze.
