Natural Science Illustration begins Feb 1 and will be held weekly for four weeks from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Pygmy Kayak Building Class daily Feb 5-11 from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Introduction to Wood Carving Feb 16-18, 7-9 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m Saturday and Sunday

Astor Street Opry Company Auditions 

The Astor Street Opry Company is proud to announce open auditions for “See How They Run” by Philip King and Directed by Edward James.

Auditions are set for February 4th at 6 p.m. and the 5th at 7 p.m. at the ASOC Playhouse.  The play calls for nine players; 6 men (appearing 20 and up), and 3 women (appearing 18 and up).  Ideally, all payers will have a British, Cockney or Irish Accent, but not mandatory. No Previous experience is necessary.

Fiction Writing Classes

Tuesdays, beginning February 6th, the Longview Public Library will be holding a series of fiction writing classes from 1-2:30 p.m.  The classes are free, and open to the public.  Registration is not required but is appreciated.
