The Long Beach city council adopts city goals for the next two years. City manageer Gene Miles tells KAST some of the goals include using the city's website as a business recruiting tool; attract a new hotel for privately owned oceanside property; expand the commercial activity area of Long Beach, possibly to the west beyond Pacific Avenue; maintain funding levels for infrastructure to maintain the integrity of the city's roads and streets; and develop more parks, including a small dog park in Long Beach.
