North Pole Operations Ready

"The reindeer are ready, the sleigh is loaded, and the "big" guy is preparing to suit up".  That's the latest from the head elf at North Pole Operations this morning as Santa gets ready to take off for Christmas 2010.
KAST, in cooperation with the Oregon Air Guard will be tracking progress tonight with a series of special reports featuring F-15 fighter pilots who escort Santa on his flight to Oregon each year.

While it's difficult to predict exact arrival and delivery times it's estimated that between 5pm and 9pm we should be hearing reports from those pilots. They will be broadcast on KAST 1370 AM and on My 99.7 FM.

Beginning at Noon today KAST will broadcast a series of classic Christmas old time radio shows featuring such programs as Fibber Magee and Molly, Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Sherlock Holmes and Life Of Riley, just to name a few. The series will be broadcast through the night and end on Noon on Christmas day.

My 99.7 is the Christmas Station featuring back to back holiday hits right now and through Christmas day.
